Vintage H. Diamond #120 “Extra Steel” Straight Razor – For Barber’s Use, First Quality
This vintage H. Diamond #120 straight razor was crafted in Japan and features the maker’s hallmark “Extra Steel – Best Hollow Ground” etching, prized for its fine steel and precision grind. The blade measures approximately 6/8" (~18.8 mm) wide with a hollow grind that delivers a smooth, keen edge favored by traditional barbers. On the reverse, it bears the inscription “For Barber’s Use – First Quality,” underscoring its professional-grade craftsmanship.
The razor retains its original faux-horn scales, tight pivot, and clearly legible tang markings, showing only light signs of age consistent with careful use. A highly collectible example of Japanese razor-making excellence.
