After his factory was destroyed by the Luftwaffe in 1941, production moved to Nimmer Mill in the West Country. Currently, Progress Shaving Brush (Vulfix) Ltd. continues the tradition on the Isle of Man, hand-tying knots and crafting Simpson brushes by hand.
