Our marketplace is designed to be simple, fair, and community-focused. This document outlines how selling works, our fee structure, and the standards we expect from all sellers.
1. Who Can Sell
Our marketplace is open to:

Artisans & Brands looking for additional exposure

Enthusiasts selling pre-owned shaving products
There are no listing fees, and you may list as many items as you’d like.
2. How Selling Works

Fees apply only when your item sells

Easy-to-use seller interface

Payment via PayPal

Payouts are typically issued within 2–3 business days of confirmed delivery
Note: PayPal processing fees apply. Please price your items accordingly.
3. Fees & Payout Structure
Fees are charged only when a product sells.

Commission: 10% of the purchase price
-
Payment processing: 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction
Your payout is based on the final sale price after any applied discounts.
4. Pricing Considerations
Sellers are responsible for pricing their items appropriately. The following may impact your final payout:

Shipping promotions (including free shipping offers within the U.S.)

Promotional discounts of up to 10% (offered at our discretion)
Important:

Discounts above 10% will not include your products.

If you prefer to opt out of free shipping promotions, please email us directly.
5. Shipping Policies

Marketplace currently supports U.S. shipping.

New sellers are opted out of international shipping by default.

If you wish to ship internationally, contact us to enable this option.

International rates are weight-based. Sellers are responsible for entering accurate product weights.

If your items cannot ship internationally, this must be clearly stated in your store policies and product listings.

We recommend www.pirateship.com for discounted USPS shipping labels.
6. Seller Responsibilities
By joining the marketplace, you agree to maintain a high standard of service and professionalism.
Ship Promptly

Orders must ship within 48 business hours of payment.

Tracking information must be entered promptly.
Act with Integrity

Provide clear, accurate descriptions.

Use high-quality, honest product photos.
-
Remove or deactivate listings immediately when items are no longer available.
Maintain Community

Respond promptly to customer questions.

Communicate professionally with Murphy & McNeil administrators.

Help maintain a positive, trustworthy marketplace experience.
Murphy & McNeil reserves the right to remove listings or suspend seller accounts if necessary to protect the customer experience.
7. Returns
Sellers are responsible for coordinating returns directly with customers in accordance with our standard return policy.
8. Issue Resolution & Enforcement
Maintaining trust is critical.
In cases such as:

Failure to ship

Shipping without valid tracking

Shipping to an incorrect address

Misrepresentation of products
Murphy & McNeil reserves the right to:

Refund the customer
-
Deduct associated losses from future seller payouts

Suspend or remove sellers from the platform

Unresponsive sellers will be suspended.
