The Trinity Knot, or Triquetra, is one of the most recognizable symbols in Celtic culture, and it has come to have many different meanings over time. To Christianity, the knot represents "Father, Son, and Holy Ghost." Other perspectives have come to attribute the Trinity to mean "Earth, Wind, and Sky," or "Mother, Maiden, and Crone". When seen enclosed by a circle the Trinity Knot is said to represent eternity, or unity. The Trinity is a fascinating outward symbol, that to so many has come to represent our eternal (and internal) values, faiths, and beliefs.

Just The Right Balance
If you want a balm that balances fragrance, moisturizing and feel, then this will meet your criteria for the perfect compliment to the Trinity soap. My skin feels soft. Not greasy at all. Presence of scent is there, but not over powering in the least. That's why I think that it's the right balance and complements the soap perfectly.
My daily shave includes both a balm and aftershave splash in the finish. I've used balms from most of the bigger named artisan players (Soap Commander, Stirling, Phoenix, etc), as well as some over-the-counter names. The offering from Murphy & McNeil easily joins the lineup with these other fine brands. Consistency and performance of the Trinity balm is top notch. Not too thick, not too watery, and the feel afterward is perfect. I became a fast fan of their products, and the new balm definitely meets the high bar they have set for themselves. Well done indeed!
