I hope this message finds you well.
We have some exciting news to share from the Murphy and McNeil team, and we couldn’t wait to bring it directly to your inbox. It's been a tough couple years. I don't know about you, but I've grown tired of being in a world where the prices (on everything!) only seem to climb. It hasn't been great for business, and it sure hasn't been great for achieving less stress at home.
Through our marketplace helping sellers re-home shaving goods and helping enthusiasts find deals on stuff that's impossible to find anywhere... to making our own product line which has been quite successful. I'm deciding to take a chance, and take Murphy and McNeil a step in a direction that's opposite the current trends. We've always wanted to be a great value that you'll talk to your friends about... so...
Today we are announcing that we are significantly reducing prices on most of our name brand products. Yes, you read it right, and yes it's a significant risk. At Murphy and McNeil, we've always been committed to offering great quality at good prices. We're now hoping to classify as great quality at GREAT prices.
This isn't meant to be just a temporary promotion; it's our commitment to being one of the best values you can find in the market and we'll continue to do so.
Please note that a painful part of this change is a tweak to our free shipping policies. Free shipping will now apply to orders over $49 to U.S. addresses on most items. However, please note we've made things easier for our loyalty members across all tiers (Druid, Warrrior, and Chieftain VIP) will now receive both their product discounts and NEW shipping discounts between 25-100% depending on your tier. Our members no longer have to keep an annoying coupon code handy to score those discounts... they are tied to your account and will fire with all qualifying purchases.

We've always tried to make our splashes special in a few ways. One, we source really nice bottles with faux leather soft-touch caps.
Second, through our website we allow you to customize our full size splashes by choosing whether you want alcohol or alcohol free, and further you can decide if you want to include menthol or synthetic cooling for the extra kick.
Doing this adds a deceptive amount of complexity to stocking & shipping, but for artisan prices you should get exactly the type of splash you want!

Similar to our splashes, we allow you to customize your balm by adding synthetic menthol if you choose for a strong, long-lasting cooling effect. Our balms are a lighter consistency than most of the others out there, but you'll find a little goes a LONG way. Just a tiny amount will feel extremely moisturizing and amplify your post shave a bunch.
You can't beat these at $9.99, particularly if you're like us and love to follow a strong splash with a soothing balm after every shave.

We make EDP, which by name is meant to be one of the highest concentrations of fragrance material to give you the best chance of having a prominent, long-lasting scent. Every part of your shave has a job, and although strong soaps and splashes are nice, it's really the job of a good/wearable fragrance to be the thing that lets you catch whiffs of yourself and get complements on your scent all day.
Our solid colognes aren't as strong as EDP, but by design they're meant to fit in your pocket in a convenient tube (similar to a lip balm tube but larger) so you can apply at any time of the day for a quick refresh of your favorite fragrance.

Beard oils are the newest member of our lineup. We made the call to use the same soft-touch cap and flow restrictors as our splashes. We like this better than the normal "dropper" tubes that beard oils often come in. It makes them a bit better for travel and allows you to dispense the minimal effective amount needed.
